What is it?
It's an on-screen game controller that uses the mouse pointer to select directions and button presses by mimicking keyboard presses. It's designed specifically for fighting games such as 'Streetfighter', but it can be used to play other types of game too.
Why the name 'Shodan'?
In Japanese martial arts, e.g. Karate, Shodan is the first black belt level. When a person gains their shodan, it means they have a good understanding of the basics of the martial art, and from this point on is when they really begin to learn!
The Shodan Gamepad aims to allow you to easily perform the basic and even advanced moves in a fighting game; the rest is down to you . . .
